The product
What is a custom city map poster?
A custom city map poster is artwork generated from the roads, waterways, parks, and geographic features around a place you choose. Instead of selecting a generic skyline illustration, you control the centre point, map area, colours, dimensions, and text. Cartova renders the finished design as a high-resolution digital file that you can print locally.
Choose any meaningful place
Use a hometown, favourite neighbourhood, travel memory, first home, or the place where an important event happened.
Control the composition
Reposition the map and choose the dimensions before changing the city label, country label, coordinates, alignment, and font.
Print on your terms
Download a 300 DPI PNG and use a local print shop, online printer, or suitable home printer. Cartova does not ship a frame or physical poster.
Customization
Make the map fit the place and the room
The same city can look completely different when the crop, road density, water, colour palette, and typography change. Start with the place, then adjust the design around what should stand out.

- Theme
- Compare 17 palettes, from pale minimal styles to dark, high-contrast artwork.
- Dimensions

- Text

Custom city map poster questions
Can I make a map poster for any city?
Cartova supports locations returned by its global map search. Available street and geographic detail depends on the OpenStreetMap data for the selected place.
How much does a personalized map poster cost?
Every custom Cartova poster costs $12 USD. This price covers one digital print file. There is no physical shipping charge.
Will the downloaded poster contain a watermark?
No. Public previews are reduced and watermarked to protect the artwork. The purchased print-ready file does not contain the public preview watermark.
How do I receive the poster?
After successful Ziina payment and rendering, Cartova provides a protected download link. The order can also be recovered later using the checkout email.
